Full Moon Series 2024 - Blue Moon

With the cycle of the phases of the Moon lasting approximately one month, and there being 12 months in a year, we typically have 12 full moons each year

This year, Blue Moon is occuring on 19th Aug,2024.

Named by Native American tribes, the Sturgeon Moon is so-called because it coincides with the time of year when sturgeon fish were most readily caught in the Great Lakes and other major bodies of water.This will be the first of four full supermoons in 2024. A supermoon happens when a full moon coincides with the moon's closest approach to Earth in its orbit, making it appear larger and brighter than usual.

Note : Participants who register for and successfully complete all the 12 runs of 'Full Moon Series 2024' will receive a complete Full Moon Medal at the end of the series.You can register for any distance of your choice each month and are required to complete it within the specified timeframe.
